In addition to its research work, the Centre is engaged in educational activities, offering a range of lectures and courses to both students and the general public in areas such as online privacy, copyright, and cyberlaw. Few examples of projects that the Center has initiated in some of these areas include: the Berklett cybersecurity project (which is looking into the role of the foreign intelligence community in promoting cybersecurity), the Cyberlaw Clinic (which provides pro-bono legal services on issues related to Internet and intellectual property), and the cybersecurity wiki (which includes a set of more that 350 articles, reports, and other resources on cybersecurity-related matters).
Research carried out by the Center covers a wide range of Internet issues, such as broadband, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property rights, electronic commerce, content policy, harmful speech online, etc. This opportunity is for scholars who wish to spend 2022-2023 in residence in Cambridge, MA as part of the Centers vibrant community. The Centre studies the development, dynamics, norms, and standards of cyberspace, and assesses the need or lack thereof for laws covering cyberspace-related issues.
